I lacked an established idea of self whilst growing up. Sine Qua Non (that without which cannot exist) is an exploratory exercise into the creation of meaning.
The lack of an objective narrative prompts discomfort in the viewer, which consequently mirrors my own feelings towards my upbringing, origins, identity and home.
